MCT oil − fast energy for every cell
MCT, also called "medium-chain triglycerides", are medium-chain fatty acids. It metabolises very quickly in your body. These fatty acids are converted into ketone bodies in your liver, which can be a more effective source of energy than carbohydrates. As a result, energy reaches the cells directly. Depending on their chemical structure, MCT fats contain different fatty acids. MCT oils usually contain a mixture of C6, C8, or C10 fatty acids. Our MCT oil, on the other hand, contains 100% pure caprylic acid content. Caprylic acid is a C8 fatty acid, i.e. its "skeleton" consists of 8 carbon atoms. It is considered to be the highest quality MCT fatty acid because its special chemical properties enable the body to obtain energy from this fatty acid particularly quickly and transport it into cells - completely without sugar.
